On October 6 Government of Ukraine has recommenced the program to support population to implement residential energy efficiency improvements

Starting from October 6, 2016, Government of Ukraine has recommenced the most popular among population part of the Government Program for energy efficiency – purchase of energy efficient materials and equipment with partial reimbursement for attracted energy efficiency loans. Oschadbank and Ukrgasbank again issue “warm” loans to natural persons.
On July 27, 2016, Government decided to allocate additional UAH 100 mln to support Ukrainians in energy efficiency improvements and to increase assistance for natural persons.
For such works as thermal modernization, installation of new windows, installation of meters, modernization of lighting, Ukrainians, including subsidy recipients, will be reimbursed 35% of attracted loans.
The conditions under which homeowners associations and housing building cooperatives participate in the Government Program remain unchanged. They will be reimbursed 40% for costs incurred with thermal modernization works. For homeowners associations with subsidy recipients reimbursement varies from 40% to 70%.
